Mikuni Shimokawa is a talented Japanese singer and songwriter who hails from Shizunai, Hokkaido, where her family ran a ranch. Born under the constellation Pisces, Mikuni has two older sisters and one younger brother. She attended Towa no Mori San-Ai Senior High School and made her debut as a member of the girl idol group "Checkicco" from 1998 to 1999.
