Biography

Toshifumi Takizawa, born on September 18, 1953 in Matsumoto, Nagano Prefecture, Japan, was a renowned figure in the anime industry. He graduated from Tokyo Zokei University and began his career at Tokyo Animation Film as a member of the photography team. Takizawa later joined Shin-Ei Douga as a production assistant before transitioning to Nippon Sunrise where he made his directorial debut in 1985 with the Dirty Pair TV series.
