Hound Dog are a Japanese band known for their contributions to various anime soundtracks. The group was formed in 1976 by Kohei Otomo. Over the years, the band has had various members come and go, including Shigeru Takahashi, Tamate, Junichi Yashima, Hitoshi Minowa, Setsuo Umifuji, and Satoh. Junichi Yashima was a member of Hound Dog from 1978 to 2006, while Hitoshi Minowa was with the band from 1978 to 2005.
