Tomoyasu Murata is a Japanese animator known for his unique puppet movies. He was born in Japan and graduated from the General Design Course of Tokyo University of Art in 2000. Following this, he completed a graduate degree in Formative Communication major at the same university. In 2002, Murata founded his own company, TOMOYASU MURATA COMPANY, through which he has produced various anime projects.
