Biography

Masami Hata, born in 1942 in Toyama Prefecture, Japan, is a renowned animator and director in the world of anime. He began his career in 1965 at Mushi Pro, where he debuted with Wonder 3 and directed his first two TV series. Following the closure of Mushi Pro in 1973, Hata transitioned to Tokyo Movie Shinsha, where he worked on storyboards and directed episodes for various TV series.
