Diana Wynne Jones (16 August 1934 – 26 March 2011) was a renowned author of over thirty fantasy stories, including the popular Chrestomanci series and the beloved novels Howl's Moving Castle and Dark Lord of Derkholm. In addition to her work as an author, Jones also contributed to various anime projects throughout her career.
