Biography

Toshitsugu Saida is a renowned animator who has been active in the industry since 1968. Originally from Yamaga, Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan, Saida is best known for his work with Oh! Production, where he joined soon after its establishment in 1970. Under the guidance of Kazuo Komatsubara and Kouichi Murata, he quickly rose to become one of the studio's most talented animators. One of Saida's most notable works is "Gauche the Cellist," a 63-minute film for which he single-handedly drew all of the key animation.
