Toshio Hirata

Biography

Toshio Hirata was an animator and graduate of Musashino Art University. He began his career at Toei Doga, under the tutelage of Yasuji Mori, working on films such as "Journey to the West" and "Little Prince." He later joined Mushi Production and worked on projects like "Jungle Taitei" as a director. Hirata also worked with Zuiyo, Group Tac, and resided at Madhouse. During his early years in animation, Hirata was influenced by Mori's teaching and approach to animation, which shaped his own style.
