Nothing's Carved in Stone is a Japanese rock band acclaimed for their exceptional performance skills. The group was formed when guitarist Shinichi Ubukata, formerly of ELLEGARDEN, approached bassist Hidekazu Hinata of STRAIGHTENER to do sessions together following ELLEGARDEN's hiatus in September 2008. Drummer Takanori Ohkita, from the band FULLARMAR, joined the group through Hidekazu's introduction and they began holding sessions before recruiting a vocalist.
