Shiho Niiyama (March 21, 1970 – February 7, 2000) was a talented Japanese seiyuu affiliated with Aoni Production. Known for her roles as Kou Seiya (Sailor Star Fighter) in Sailor Stars and Deedlit in Lodoss-tou Senki, Niiyama made a lasting impact on the world of anime. She was also a member of the seiyuu group Virgo, who voiced characters in Ojousama Sousamou. Tragically, Niiyama was diagnosed with leukemia in 1998 and passed away in 2000 due to complications from pneumonia. She was only 29 years old at the time of her death.
