Susumu Hirasawa (平沢進, born April 2, 1954 in Tokyo, Japan) is a prominent Japanese electropop artist known for his innovative and influential work in the music industry. Hirasawa's musical journey began in the early 1970s when he joined the progressive rock band Mandrake, drawing inspiration from artists such as King Crimson and Yes. In 1979, he co-founded the techno-pop band P-Model, which achieved great success throughout the 1980s with a series of groundbreaking albums.
