Santa Inoue is a Japanese manga artist and the founder of the Santastic! clothing line. Born in Paris, France in 1968, Inoue's work is heavily influenced by hip hop culture, and he has created characters inspired by various rappers.
In addition to his manga series, Inoue has also worked on various anime projects. Some of his favorite influences include the "Boyz n The Hood" movie, Katsuhiro Otomo, Kazuo Umezu's "Drifting Classroom" manga, "Menace II Society" movie, "Raising Cain" movie, "Silence of the Lambs," and Takao Saito's "Survival" manga.
