Puffy, also known as Puffy AmiYumi outside of Japan, is a Japanese rock duo signed with Sony Music Japan. Consisting of Ami Onuki (Jane) and Yumi Yoshimura (Sue), they were scouted by Sony-affiliated talent agencies in the mid-1990s and gained mainstream success in Japan in 1998 with the release of their album Jet. Their first hit "Asia no Junshin" sold a million records, and they have since released multiple successful albums, totaling 14 million sales in Japan. Puffy has worked on various anime projects, showcasing their talent in both Japanese and English.
