Miki Tori (とり・みき), also known as Micky Bird or Mickey Bird, is a renowned Japanese manga artist, character designer, essayist, and screenplay writer born on February 23, 1958, in Hotoyoshi, Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. Throughout his career, Tori has been honored with multiple awards, including two Seiun Awards (in 1994 for "Dai-Hon'ya" and in 1998 for SF Taisho) and the Bungeishunjuu Manga Award (in 1995 for "Tooku e Ikitai").
