Hajime Isayama (諫山 創, Isayama Hajime, born August 29, 1986) is a renowned Japanese manga artist known for creating the highly popular series Attack on Titan. Born in Ōyama, Ōita Prefecture, Japan, Isayama discovered his passion for manga early on in high school, where he began submitting his works to contests. After graduating from Hita Rinko Senior High School, Isayama pursued his dream by enrolling in the manga design program at Kyushu Designer Gakuen.
