Jamil Kazmi is an American-born musician who moved to Japan for school but ended up pursuing a successful music career. He has collaborated with renowned artists such as Metis, Futoshi (Aqua Timez), Nesian Mystik, Wise (Teriyaki Boyz), and Speech (Arrested Development). In August 2011, Jamil released his debut album titled "American Shounen".
