Jun Seba, born in the Nishi-Azabu district of Minato, Tokyo in 1974, was a Japanese record producer, DJ, composer, and arranger known by his stage name Nujabes, a reversal of his name. He was the proprietor of two record stores in Shibuya, tribe and Guinness Records, and the founder of the independent label Hydeout Productions. Nujabes' signature style blended hip hop and cool jazz, often incorporating samples from legendary jazz musicians like Miles Davis and Yusef Lateef.
