Tomato Cube was a Japanese pop band formed in 1998, consisting of members Chisato Nishimura (vocal), Akira Yamamoto (guitar & chorus), and Takahashi Ryudai (guitar & chorus). The band signed with Warner Music Japan in 2000 and gained popularity for their work on various animes during their short two-year career. After disbanding in 2002, Chisato Nishimura went on to form the band MellowCap with Takatsuki Kanaya, whom she had met in high school. Though their time together was brief, Tomato Cube's contributions to the anime industry continue to resonate with fans of next-generation anime.
