Overview

After the devil king announces his retirement, his devil king cadets venture into the human world for a succession contest, but one descendant, Osamu, is more focused on his part-time job at a convenience store rather than the fate of the world, until he reluctantly starts collecting soul-born familiars called "Child" and lags behind his fellow cadets.
